Having worked in Galway as a Design Engineer for international telecommunications companies for over a decade, I pursued my interest in healthcare by studying osteopathy in the United Kingdom at the European School of Osteopathy in Kent. Graduating from there with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy (M.Ost.) provided me with the opportunity to receive instruction in structural, visceral and cranial osteopathy, a qualification in Dry Needling (commonly referred to as Acupuncture) and over 1,000 hours of supervised clinical experience. Both training and working in the UK offered excellent and extensive clinical experience dealing with a wide variety of patients from all aspects of life - from infants to the elderly, presenting with acute and chronic conditions, including traumatic, pathological and sports injuries.

I have a keen interest in sport and fitness and with my family and friends I enjoy many outdoor activities. This includes a wide variety of sports including football, hurling, rugby, cycling, surfing and sailing and have participated in a number of marathon and half-marathons.
